I spent some time at a friend’s place right across the street from the Santa Monica Pier, so I had lots of time to hang out on the beach. I didn’t have any of my boards with me, just a camera, so I tried to make the most of it. :-)
Obviously I’m still playing with the color grade I worked up based on the old Polaroid 690 film. I thought this image might be a good fit and I’m really digging it so far. After working on and tweaking versions of it previously, I could finally just drop it on the original file and not do any additional work to get the look I envisioned.
I’m sure you’ll see more of this look in the future. ;-)
