Chris LeDoux in concert

Yesterday marked the 14th year since we lost Chris LeDoux. He was the 1976 world champion bareback rider, songwriter, singer, (released 36 albums - most self released) rancher, poet, bronze sculptor, he was married 33 years and had 5 kids,   - the accolades could go on and on. I bought my first album of his off the tailgate of his truck after some long forgotten rodeo when I was around 8 years old. I never imagined I would be hired to photograph many of his concerts. Some of my best memories are of standing on stage during his electrifying concerts, trying to make a good image while avoiding (most of the time) standing on top of his pyrotechnic devices. Miss the music and I miss you buddy.
